It's purpose is to feed and condition the leather, thereby keeping the leather supple and producing the correct amount of "draw" on the blade. Also prevents drying and cracking, the number one reason for strop failure.

Particularly useful in "breaking-In" a new strop, it's periodic use will greatly extend the strop's useful life and improve it's performance. May be used on any brand Leather Strop.
