This special pair of razors come nestled in their own hard-sided case, constructed of Mahogany-Colored Top Grain Leather and Nickel Plated Frame, Hinge, and Hardware. The interior is lined with a handsome brown-checked Fabric and Matching Leather Band.
Clearly one of the Most handsome Straight Razors ever Made. This razor's handle is Hand Carved from One Solid Piece of All Natural Genuine Buffalo Horn. This set includes one light and one dark colored handle. The natural coloring and graining of the horn makes no two razors exactly alike. After carving, the horn is smoothed and Hand Polished to a high gloss revealing the hidden beauty of the natural material. The handle's size is considerably larger than typical, giving you plenty to hang on to but not negatively effecting the fine balance.
The razor's blade is no less distinctive. Beginning with a High Carbon forged steel blank that has been Tempered by Both Fire and Ice, the blade takes shape in the hands of a Master Craftsman who shapes and grinds the blank into a semi-finished 5/8 Full Hollow Ground blade. The blade's finishing includes: Custom File Work to create the Jimps on the Upper and Lower edge of the shank; Decorative and Brand Stamps on the front and rear of the shank; Polishing to a mirror finish front and rear; Heavy Gold Plating of the entire shank; Two-Color 24k Gold Decorative Etching on Blade and Spine, and only then final sharpening and polishing.
